I don’t know if I still love you (2002)

It is said that human pupils dilate in response to arousal, to other people and to objects. I wanted to create an image that captured a conflict, between the body and the brain in assessing an intimate situation. I used chemical eye drops to dilate the pupil of one of my eyes so that it couldn’t react to the ambient light, so that it would remain larger than the other pupil.
