The Standard Package Trilogy Part III, 2011

I submitted a single photograph to 18 different online re-touchers asking ’please could you do a general retouch/makeover’. The instructions purposefully short, I always accepted the first image they send back and the cost of the retouch was low $3 – $30. They knew that I am the photographer but not necessarily the model or an artist. The job was refused by some re-touchers for not being a proper portrait, i.e not head & shoulders and one couldn'’t resist returning three ever decreasing versions of me.

The fourteen final images are presented on a digital picture frame as a looped slide show (1m24) but have also been exhibited as a projection and on flat screen.
